Excellence in Partnership Award

Names Spectrum
“Most Innovative Small Business” --
Fairfax, VA – October 29, 2008 –
Spectrum Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-level IT
solutions and services to the public and private sectors, announced
today that it has been awarded the Most Innovative Small Business
Award as part of the Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Awards program,
Industry category. The award is sponsored by the Coalition for
Government Procurement, and 1105 Government Information Group, in
conjunction with the General Services Administration (GSA).
The Excellence in Partnership Awards recognize the people and
organizations that have made significant strides in the promotion
and utilization of the GSA's Multiple Award Schedules program. Out
of the more than 18,000 GSA Schedule contractors, only five are
recognized for their contributions each year by the Coalition. The
Most Innovative Small Business Award is given to the small business
contract holder who has grown its Federal Acquisition Service (FAS)
business, committed itself to FAS and developed innovative ways to
meet customer needs.
The award was presented by Jim Williams, Administrator of GSA, to
Spectrum Systems’ president, Ronald Segal, on October 23, 2008 at
the Excellence in Partnership Awards Banquet at the Renaissance
Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. “Spectrum is proud of its
continued rapid growth in this tight economy,” said Ronald Segal.
“Of equal importance, this award recognizes the value of our active
participation with industry and government leaders to help GSA find
more effective ways to serve our mutual government customers and,
ultimately, the taxpayer.”
